Summary:

The position of Executive Assistant provides administrative, clerical and communication support to the Senior Vice President, Assistant Vice President and when necessary the leadership team of the Health Foundation. Responsibilities include development of formal presentations and reports utilizing various Microsoft Office applications, coordination and support of major and planned gift projects, meeting minutes, written and/or verbal communication with internal and external constituents, and direct interaction with the donor community on behalf of the SVP. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality is essential in this position. Professional appearance in dress, verbal and written communication, and demeanor are paramount.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of executive assistance experience.
  • Fundraising and/or non-profit experience is desirable.
  • Some college or business school, preferred.
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimum of directions and supervision.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, confident and a good communicator.
  • Acts in a professional, friendly and appropriate manner at all times.
  • Proficient in computer skills and various software applications.
  • Excellent skills as it relates to database management.
  • Maintain a pleasant and flexible attitude/demeanor.
  • Ability to compose correspondence, including good spelling and grammar skills.
