Our Mount Vernon, IL location is seeking a PLT Plant 1 Curing Setup Ice Cleaner. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

THE POSITION
PLT Plant 1 Curing Setup Ice Cleaner
Working within a team or solo environment, the Ice blast machine operator will have the responsibility for the operation and maintenance of a robotic dry ice cleaning machine and the accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy.

- Able to follow instructions and operate the ice machines
- Good communication ability/teamwork.
- Must be able to pay attention to small details
- Good hand-eye coordination for the operation of cleaning machines and parts.
- Look at every part after blasting to see if parts are clean if not need to be re-blasted.
- Able to detect defective parts.
- Able to operate Tire Presses
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace before and after shift.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa support
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience or Associates Degree
