JOB DESCRIPTION

Locations: Melbourne - Yarra Falls (Hybrid)

In this position, you'll be based in the Abbotsford office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. This role has in-office operational requirements and so we're unable to consider employees who wish to continue an existing, fully remote working arrangement.

As our UX Designer, you'll be at the heart of the design process, crafting seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experiences, including effective UX copywriting. In this hands-on role, you will lead Experience Design projects, conduct research, analyze data for insights, and facilitate collaborative workshops. You'll create compelling design briefs and develop both low and high-fidelity prototypes for user testing. Responsibilities:

  • Design key Customer Journeys to increase Digital Adoption (drive down cost and seek opportunities to create new value for existing and new customers
  • Design and support delivery of experiences that customers and client service love, appreciate, and refer CPU. Leverage from the Core to deliver better CX
  • Aligned with Digital Transformation, provide leadership, mentorship and frameworks to introduce the right product/service offerings to support current and future revenue goals in partnership with Business Stakeholders
  • Exhibit design expertise around new ideas, strategies, and opportunities to deliver for our customers
  • Contribute to healthy operations and disciplines that can be scaled and readily available to support predictable success, to include engineering practices, ways of working, design system, design ops and sustainable design process
  • Align and support to the agreed group strategy
  • Cohesively work across prioritised projects in a sustainable way that is scalable and where success is predictable
  • Contribute to an engaged, productive team, delivering results, and excited about the future.
  • Embrace Continuous Learning and growth, staying updated on UX copywriting trends to enhance the overall design process
  • Actively lead by example and champions diversity in everyday actions and decisions

What will you bring to the role?

You'll bring a passion for user experience best practices and human-centered design. With strong collaboration and communication skills, you'll work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive exceptional user experiences. Your adaptability, attention to detail, and growth mindset will help you thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in UX design and UX copywriting
  • Native-level English fluency, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Token Studio, Zeroheight and MIRO)
  • Skilled in creating adaptive and responsive designs
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and concepts

Desired skills:

  • Experience with creative design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloudm and MIRO)
  • Familiarity with securities and/or banking industries
  • Professional copywriting or content writing experience
