The Digital Experience Team drives the global growth of HubSpot's core products by developing digital experiences and crafting user-centered solutions that enhance the customer journey. This is a highly visible team making a significant impact as your work will impact millions of users worldwide. This team collaborates closely with partners in Marketing, creative, and other areas of the business. We're passionate about solving complex user problems and continuously improving our digital properties shaping them into a frictionless customer experience.

Our UX Design Team covers a broad spectrum of practice areas including user research, interaction design, information architecture, and UI design. Our team mission is to create Meaningful, Usable, Enjoyable, and Accessible experiences with people at heart that support our HubSpot digital ecosystem. Our design team is growing and we are looking for an ambitious designer to join our creative community!

About the Role

As an Associate UX Designer, you will be an early-career professional working alongside experienced designers to learn and apply fundamental UX principles. You'll contribute to specific project experiences while developing your skills in user research, wireframing, Visual Design / UI Design, and prototyping under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning within our creative community.
In this role, you'll get to:
  • Assist in conducting user research and producing usability testing reports
  • Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes for focused interfaces
  • Assist in designing and analyzing conversion optimization tests
  • Support the creation of information architecture deliverables
  • Collaborate with UI designers to ensure cohesive user experiences
  • Participate in team learning sessions and Design Time meetings
  • Work closely with direct stakeholders on project deliverables
  • Build experience within specific areas of UX design
  • Execute tasks autonomously after receiving direction from senior team members
We are looking for people who have:
  • Ideally 2-3 years of experience in Design and User Experience
  • Understanding of UX design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
  • Basic knowledge of user research methods and usability testing techniques
  • General understanding of web and mobile design principles
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good understanding of human-centered design principles
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the UX or UI field
  • Ability to communicate your design approach to others
