This is a fantastic leadership opportunity within Computershare's Georgeson division which is a global market leader in providing clients proxy solicitation and consulting services. As Head of UK Markets, you will manage an experienced team at our London office, provide valuable subject matter expertise and thought leadership to the business/market, while being responsible for overall success and revenue generation for our UK operations. Working closely with other Heads of markets across the globe this role is well positioned to make a meaningful impact to Georgeson's overall strategy.

A role you will love
As the Head of UK Markets for our Georgeson business you will be accountable for building and maintaining relationships with complex, high profile revenue generating client portfolios. You will be responsible for the local office team ensuring high performance, excellent client service and driving market share. Providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership to the wider business you will be required to navigate the organisation effectively at all levels while being ambassador for the team internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, direct and support the UK team to achieve challenging business objectives, developing tactical and strategic approaches to delivery of agreed projects.
• Drive and support the team's efforts to proactively manage client actions, anticipate issues, and implement solutions through close working relationships and exceeding client's expectations.
• Actively pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining a robust and qualified business pipeline and comprehensive coverage of the local listed company industry.
• Develop and execute new business strategies for operational efficiencies and growth opportunities.
• Oversee project work to ensure effective service delivery, effectively communicating and negotiating project requirements with clients and internal Account Management teams.
• Maintain and grow knowledge in our key service areas to deliver successful outcomes to our clients.
• Maintain, develop and strengthen both internal and client relationships.
• Engage with the market through industry events, enterprise think tanks, speaking opportunities.
What will you bring to the role?
• Successful track record in a sales' and/or a business development role within a Financial Services environment.
• Proven ability to engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders including Directors & C-Suite executives.
• Knowledge of the financial markets and contacts within key intermediary networks such as Investment Banks, Law firms, Public Relations and Investor Relations.
• Excellent communication skills and experience writing and presenting proposals.
• The ability to exceed set objectives / goals / Key Performance Indicators.
• A strong client focus and the ability to deliver outcomes that exceed business and client expectations.
• Excellent management and motivational skills with experience of leading a diverse team along with developing tactical and strategic approaches.
