Job Summary and Purpose:
The Sr. IT Infrastructure and Systems Engineer for endpoints is a critical member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for solutions engineering and operations of iRhythm’s infrastructure and systems. Utilising skills and experience, you will work with peers on the Corporate IT team to design, test, build and production of our IT systems, including network, storage, compute, communication and collaboration services across our on-premises, co-location data centres, and cloud-based environments.

Please note: This position is remote within the UK, and the working hours align with US Central Time, which is six hours behind UK time.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, build and support of endpoint technologies
- Implement secure and fault-tolerant solutions
- Provide technical leadership, support and architectural direction across multiple teams and domains
- Server as an internal escalation point
- Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape
- Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects
- Migrate systems from on-premise to co-location sites to cloud
- Mentor junior team members
- Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution
- Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise
- Develop solutions for international expansion
About you:
Required:
- Minimum HND in Computing/Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
- Certifications in O365, AWS & Windows
- Experience working in a SOX regulated company
- Experience operating in a 24/7 international company (US, APAC & EMEA) with compensated on call rotation.
- Extensive hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory
- Architectural level knowledge of cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure)
- Expert level experience with:
- SCCM
- Scripting
- Patch deployment
- JAMF Implementation & administration
- Designing infrastructure and administration of Apple devices
- Design, implementation and management of Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Solid experience with:
- ITIL
- Linux
- CrowdStrike & EDR technologies
- Routing and switching
- Developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers
- A service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.
- Demonstrates strong self-management skills, is highly motivated, and excels in independent work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.
- Discipline to document your work
- Ability to work with a project-oriented approach for deliverables
- Flexible work schedule as some work must be completed outside of business hours
- Based in the UK
Desirable:
- Cisco Certification
- Previous experience within healthcare, life-science, pharma or bio company
- Experience with network and systems monitoring
