Initially this role will focus on Issuer Services. This Computershare business relies on CCS to support their current and future customer journeys, ensuring that every communication is designed to educate, influence behaviour, and support the business's digitisation objectives.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract, for the duration of 12-months.
A role you will love
The Content Writer will be a member of a small, cross-functional creative team that is dedicated to improving the customer communications and interactions for Computershare's internal businesses. Members of this team collectively have capabilities spanning experience design (CX, UX, UI), content, delivery/project management and internal/external client and stakeholder engagement. Together, they will rationalise and standardise a prioritised list of existing customer communications which have often been highly customised. The squad will also be responsible for creating new communications that align to new customer journeys.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Develop clear, engaging, persona-centred content for a variety of digital and offline platforms, including print/offline communications, email, websites/microsites, messaging platforms/in-app notifications and customer service scripting.
• Apply principles of behavioural science to craft content that influences customer behaviour positively.
• Proofread final copy to ensure error-free publication and posting.
• Ensure content aligns with style guides and standards.
• Work with Group Marketing teams to publish content within Computershare's content management systems and CRM.
• Develop and implement methods to measure the impact of content on customer behaviour and engagement.
• Use analytics tools to measure the performance of content and make data-driven decisions to enhance effectiveness.
• Use voice of customer insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, campaign plans, competitive information, and content impact measurements to plan effective content.
• Participate in ideation to develop creative strategies and concepts that meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, customers, experience designers (CX, UX, UI), SMEs, legal and compliance specialists, and customer service teams, to understand requirements and create content for communications / interactions.
What will you bring to the role
You'll bring exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills to craft effective copy for customer communications and interactions across a variety of digital and offline platforms. You will be passionate about creating excellent user experiences and the educative and influencing role of customer communication. You will be adaptable, open to feedback and your preferred work style is oriented to test, learn and repeat.
Other key skills required for the role include:
• 4-6 years of experience across roles involving content creation.
• Experience in financial services transactional communications, marketing, and communications.
• Be able to plan and prioritise to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work to agreed deadline.
• Capable of working independently, handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Behavioural Sciences (or related field) is preferred but not essential.
