In 2015, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced regulation that will require 4.5 million interstate truck drivers to use an Electronic Logging Device (ELD). The goal is to improve road safety and reduce paperwork burden on the industry.
With the leading ELD in the market, We are poised to build the largest network of connected commercial vehicles in the world. The massive data generated from this network presents an opportunity to fundamentally change the way the trucking market operates.
About the Role:
As KeepTruckin evolves and grows into an international brand, it is critical that our copy and brand voice be on point with our customers’ aspirations and and brand personality. While you report to the Creative Director, you will own KeepTruckin’s brand voice and tone, and work with the marketing and creative team to shape the content we generate for all external and internal efforts.
What You'll Do:
- Define the tone and voice of the KeepTruckin brand.
- Partner with Marketing, Design and UX to plan and write web digital content for our customers
- Research, learn, and absorb all relevant industry topics and trends: tech, industry social media, and retail
- Ensure that the brand voice is consistent, clear and concise across all collateral, both internal and external.
- Understand and communicate different writing styles needed to address different segments of the market.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all marketing copy is ideal for SEO as well as on brand.
- Help build and maintain the brand style guide with the Creative Director
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 Years of copywriting experience
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Communication, Writing, Journalism, English or similar concentrations
- Portfolio of successful retail, advertising, and editorial work
- Strong understanding of information hierarchy as it relates to content strategy
- Great verbal communication and social skills
