 The Opportunity: 

VISASQ/Coleman is seeking a Market Research Manager based in the United Kingdom to join our growing Survey team. This position offers flexibility for remote work or in-office attendance, and we are looking for candidates who are within a commutable distance to our London office. 

 Ideal applicants will have deep expertise with quantitative market research methodologies, great client-handling skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and an ability to remain nimble and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of qualitative research techniques is also desirable.  We are seeking a seasoned market researcher looking to take their skills into the Expert Network world. A commercial thinker who can help us to build our survey research capabilities, enhance our current offering, and grow our EMEA survey business across client books.

Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities of the Market Research Manager position may include: 

 

  • Conducting research needs assessments with our clients, translating their needs into research projects to recommend the best feasibility and pricing approaches. 
  • Fielding incoming research requests from EMEA clients, scoping out survey research projects and sampling needs. 
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on Coleman’s survey research services to help cross-sell our offering to existing and new clients. 
  • Managing the execution of multiple survey research projects, primarily from EMEA based clients within management consulting, investment management and professional services. 
  • Managing a range of research studies to ensure successful delivery to the client, often delivering fast-paced projects to tight deadlines 
  • Managing research partners and vendors to source and deliver high-quality sample to inform our projects for our clients. 
  • Building strong relationships with our clients and vendors 
  • Using Qualtrics to manage survey send-out to internal network experts, monitor fieldwork and conduct data reviews; desirable to be able to set up and program surveys on Qualtrics 
  • Performing quality assurance reviews of data files to ensure our data is of the highest quality and client-ready 
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records for all live briefs and projects, and moving projects forward at pace 
  • Reporting to the Head of International Market Research to ensure smooth operation of live studies, quoting proposals and pipeline of new opportunities 
  • Creating informative presentations to deliver research findings to clients

The nature of the expert network industry allows for a variance in day-to-day tasks as Market Research Managers respond to ever-changing business needs. 

 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of quantitative market research experience, ideally in B2B research 
  • Experience with both online and CATI survey modes; other research modes also desirable 
  • Strong research methodologist, and able to understand clients’ research needs and recommend the best approach 
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritize diverse demands in a dynamic and fast-paced environment client-facing environment 
  • Experience with online survey platforms – ideally using Qualtrics, but other platforms (e.g. Confirmit, Decipher) also acceptable 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite 
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role and top-notch client relationship management skills 
  • Ability to assess survey feasibility and provide sample size estimations 
  • Stellar project management skills, deadline focused 
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with data quality reviews and data cleansing techniques 
  • Team player – focused on collaborative working 
  • Agile research experience a plus 
  • Interest in working with/across a global team
