Job Details
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all quantitative & qualitative projects conducted by the Market Research team
- Assist in project kick-off meetings and team briefings
- Conduct background research as required to guide development of relevant proposals, questionnaires, and discussion guides
- Participate in safety (adverse event) training, review data and ensure that any adverse events are reported as required
- Manage respondent lists and master database, including removal of duplicates, addition of new respondents, updating contact info, and cleaning (consent, CASL)
- Oversee coordination of honorarium payments
- Liaise with translation agencies and validate translations
- Lead online recruitment and interview coordination activities, including invitation drafting, send outs, telephone calls, faxing, etc.
- Research and compile ad hoc recruitment lists, according to project needs
- Monitor fieldwork and send reminders as needed in order to ensure attainment of set quotas within set timelines.
- Transcribe audio recordings from telephone interviews and/or verify accuracy of software generated transcriptions
- Program online surveys using our market research survey platform tool
- Test and validate programming of online survey links
- Conduct data processing and generate tabulations using our data analytics software
- Validate tabulations and quantitative data accuracy
- Code open-ended / verbatim responses
- Coordinate & supervise external agencies involved in online survey programming or data processing
- Prepare graphic shells and PowerPoint templates for reporting
- Populate shells/graphs with results from computer tabulations
- Validate accuracy of numbers in charts and perform overall report quality check
- Assist with the development of project components including key findings, reports, presentations, or other client deliverables
- On occasion, may conduct qualitative in-depth telephone or face-to-face interviews, or using on-line technologies and methodologies

Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Minimum of a BA/BCom/BSc degree in marketing, business, or life sciences
- Minimum 1 year of experience in market research
- Experience in conducting recruitment, data processing, online survey programming, charting and/or other market research skills (strong asset)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Adaptability to change and willingness to learn new skills
- Strong organizational skills: must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Effective time management skills, ability to meet aggressive and changing deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret data and synthesize information
- Highly motivated, self-directed and capable of working independently and as part of a functional team
