Role Summary:
The Janitorial/Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all facilities personnel, aspects of building maintenance, cleaning and facilities operations. This role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and efficient function of the building and its surroundings compliant with Cinemark standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the janitorial and facilities department, ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and efficient function of the building and its surrounding in compliance with Cinemark standards
- Partner with the Department Manager to ensure all team members meet company cleanliness standards (developing work schedules and assignments for team members assigned to cleaning/janitorial shifts)
- Lead and manage the janitorial and facilities team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and protocols
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the building, including restrooms, common areas, attractions, and dining areas.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for building maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of facilities and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Order and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with external service providers such as HVAC maintenance and other contractors to ensure service are delivered as required
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues related to facilities and cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, staff performance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4+years of experience in janitorial or facilities management
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, maintenance practices, and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater.
- Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
