The mission of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization is to ensure responsibility for the company's use of information technology including all telecommunications, operations and client and business applications, Investments, Credit and Trading Technology. You will be part of the Risk Technology Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) team and will help design, develop, and support Schwab's GRC platform. This role is critical to driving business accountability to achieve results that align with short and long-term business strategies.

What you will do

In this position you will have a broad range of responsibilities with a central focus on collaborating with business stakeholders, Product Owners and the Tech team to support and develop innovative, highly scalable solutions for the GRC platform. You will:
  1. Gather, define and prioritize business requirements and ensure those requirements are clearly translated into technical specifications for configuration & custom features development for IBM OpenPages GRC application
  2. Directly engage with business and technical teams, product owners, stakeholders at various levels to implement the GRC Framework across the company.
  3. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the GRC Business Practices and OpenPages Technical implementation aspects.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with team members and stakeholders.
  5. Work closely with the Sr BSA, agile scrum team(s) and product owners to prioritize the GRC models implementation.
  6. Solve problems and provide support, taking responsibility to make decisions when appropriate
  7. Track and manage dependencies across lines of business and platforms.
  8. Understand various GRC applications from a technical and business perspective and design solutions for integration with the mainstream OpenPages application.
  9. Convey potential risks to deadlines, data, security, and project deliveries to all the stake holders.
  10. Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and lead by example


What you have

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent discipline
  • 4+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst in industry leading GRC platforms like IBM OpenPages, RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC
  • Ability to design solutions for multiple modules as per business needs
  • Documented experience in an agile development environment
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and influencing skills
  • Experience creating processes documentation and visual prototype diagrams using advanced prototype design tools
  • Excellent relationship management and mediation skills, with a knack for weighing multiple stakeholder perspectives and driving timely and effective decision-making
  • Superior communication skills, able to communicate & translate complex requirements and assert positively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Java
  • Experience working in a large organization with many stakeholders
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • Experience in leading and directing a technology scrum team
  • High emotional intelligence to embody our 'through the client's eyes' mindset and ability to guide people through challenging projects and initiatives
  • Ability to listen and encourage thoughts, opinion, and discussions where needed
  • Team player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor
  • Familiarity and commitment to testing methodologies and test automation
