This position will be part of DaRT - Rep Technologies at Schwab building and managing Schwab Representative facing technologies. The DaRT Business System Analysts are dedicated to collaboratively understanding business needs and guiding them into sound technical solutions that are fit for purpose. They improve delivery outcomes through cross-functional cooperation and improvement of their development lifecycle methods. What you are good at:

Business Systems Analysts are responsible for understanding and translating the needs of the business with the use of technology. They ensure their deliverables are aligned with business need and requirements, provide advice, and work cross-functionally with the project team. Experience leading different project roles is beneficial for success in this role. They possess strong inter-personal communication skills and time management skills with a strong ability to communicate and work well with others. They possess strong analytical skills and the ability to produce efficient solutions and protocols to meet the objectives through agile.

  • Collaboratively design for a solution architecture which meets the program objectives and business needs.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver tactical and long-term solutions to maximize the business value.
  • Facilitate functional design for release planning objectives and vision with multiple scrum teams & stakeholders.
  • Collaboration, development and management of functional features, user stories, high level requirements and detailed level requirements to drive a business and technology solution
  • Comfortable with the concepts of Web Services and API technologies
  • Integration of cloud services with internal applications and/or databases, including but not limited to integration layers and security layers
  • Design and development of activity diagrams, context diagrams, intersystem dependency diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
  • Familiarity of the design and development of a use cases and UML
  • Development and support of test plans and user acceptance criteria for feature, user story and functional delivery.
  • Provide objectives for development scrum team prioritization of features, user stories for iteration planning.
  • Support development on the activities needed to execute the business vision and goals for a defined release.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders to facilitate the vision, release planning, features, user stories and overall program.
  • Work with Product Owners to manage the business and stakeholder expectations within the defined program scope, vision and release.
  • Facilitate and Implement change control process for impact analysis to scope, budget and release timelines.
  • Provide guidance and drive Agile practices with our product owners and Scrum team including the maintenance and prioritization of our backlog

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of IT Business analysis experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborative user stories for technologies.
  • Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects is a must.
  • An ability to design and create simple to complex activity diagrams, context diagrams, intersystem dependency diagrams, and sequence diagrams are required.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, objects, object relationships and the data structure is a firm requirement
  • Comprehensive analytical skills and ability to multi-task to perform multiple complex tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or institution.
  • Prior Financial Industry/Brokerage experience preferred
  • Operate with little oversight on day-to-day work with general direction on assignments
  • Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to developing processes
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and professional ethics
