About the Role:

As a CBRE FM Engineering Ops Manager, you will help manage vendors responsible for providing technical and operational support for a portfolio of commercial sites.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. This team is responsible for providing support and overseeing vendors responsible for repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and manage vendor activity.
  • Ensure vendors are completing work as expected - timely and accurately.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • May manage the profits and losses of the department or a specific division.
  • Develop goals and initiatives to direct the department's course.
  • Guide team in implementing company initiatives and policies.
  • Evaluate company processes and procedures to solve issues within them.
  • Ensure business operations are implemented based on established procedures.
  • Keep track of regulatory records and paperwork.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Building systems familiarity, i.e. UPS', CRAC Units, generators
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculation
