General Summary:
General Summary: The Line Production Manager (L.P.M.) while directly supervising the Flow Cosmetic Manager (F.C.M.), Flow Mechanical Manager (F.M.M.), and Flow Supply Manager (F.S.M.), responsibilities include monitoring daily production line performance and execution, supporting and participating in problem solving activities, and evaluating and managing the performance of all operations associates to ensure daily operations, quality standards, and flow of production lines.

• Ensure all associates complete required Workday technical and non-technical training
• Achieves daily and weekly production targets
• Communicate expectations and provide positive and developmental feedback to associates
• Follow Flow Operating principles and ensure lines are staffed to produce at demand rate
• Ensure standards are met through observation, maintenance of visual tools, and execution of standard work
• Lead and execute continuous improvement efforts
• Assist with developing and executing production plan
• Track, update and ensure completion of equipment and facility maintenance
• Responsible for workplace cleanliness and organization in accordance with CarMax 5S standards
• Ensure proper inventory levels of all personal protective equipment, tools, and chemicals
• Lead and participate in team, store and management communication meetings
• Provide support to sales, business office and purchasing teams when needed
• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
• Perform duties of Operations Manager in his/her absence
Job Specifications:
Position requires the following pre-requisites and ability:
• Successfully complete Management Development Program (M.D.P.)
• Successfully complete 5 Step Training Program
• Perform associate developmental tasks, including mentoring and performance management
• Read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
• Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Lift objects that weigh as much as 50lbs
• Speak and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone
Working Conditions:
• Combination of both office and outdoor environment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions
• Requires walking or standing for extended periods of time
• Flexible work hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, holiday, and 12-hour days
• Wears CarMax clothing (acquired through company) at all times working in the store
• Follow all CarMax, O.S.H.A., and E.P.A. standards including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, and proper waste disposal in required areas
• Adhere to all CarMax policies including Attendance, Asset Protection, Integrity and Uniform policies

The annual salary for this position is:
$67,400.00 - $118,000.00
Benefits:
Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.
Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:
- To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.
- For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc. subject to manager approval.
