We're now looking for a Production Manager at our Arendal site to be responsible for the production of our CCTV product line.
What you'll do:
The Production Manager oversees the manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and operations run efficiently. This role requires balancing the management of people, equipment, and resources to optimize productivity and efficiency and ensure timely delivery of products.

Resource Management and support:
- Allocate resources; including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production targets.
- Ensure competence levels in production are maintained and enhanced to enable flexibility within the workforce.
Process Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and deliver products to customers' expectations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Lead cultural change of production work force that embodies the Eaton philosophy and an Industry 4.0 mindset.
- Design and facilitate creation of tooling, jigs and fixtures that simplify assembly processes and create safer work holding solutions.
Quality:
- Ensure all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and monitor quality control systems and procedures.
Health and Safety:
- Work closely with EHS and provide a safe working environment for all employees.
- Act as MESH Champion for applicable programs.
Budget Management:
- Lead and support execution of capital projects as defined by plant leadership from project definition to completion.
- Control costs and maximize productivity and efficiency on available resources and machines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in production management, Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in production management or manufacturing management
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong skills within LEAN/Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and other continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong capability on Computer Skills: Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, Norwegian and English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
