Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts for consistency with deal structure and deal-approval requirements.
- Engage in business partnering with Account Sales team to provide advice on deal structure and business models for commercial agreements in Japan.
- Support Account Sales team to drive deal-approval matrix and manage different dynamics to strive for better deal quality while wining customers.
- Review VAR orders and handle VAR licensing requests to support local VAR business.
- Perform different kinds of financial analysis and simulations relating to ad-hoc requests.
- Provide presentation materials and supporting analysis required for booking/ revenue/ cash forecast and quarterly business review meeting with ad-hoc requests.
- Drive standardization and simplification of analysis processes to make forecast more reliable and visible.
- Participate in cross sector finance projects to improve the current quote-to-cash processes.
- Work with different functional teams throughout the quote-to-cash process to support deal closing and ensure compliance with company's booking policy.
- Develop subject matter expertise in different quote-to-cash processes and disciplines with a view to establishing best practices and in-depth knowledge.
- Collaborate with revenue accounting team to deep dive deal background and help on scheduling revenue recognition and help on MEA assessment in accordance with ASC606.

Position Requirements:
- 4-to-6-year experience in FP&A / Financial Analyst role
- Native level Japanese and fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (major in Accounting / Finance preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills such as building and applying advanced formulas, like VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH, being familiar with Macro-enabled Excel, and knowing what Pivot Table is and how to build one
- Ability to multi-task in a result driven business environment, meeting the deadline and work under pressure
- Must be a strong team player
Competency Requirements:
- Experience in supporting Sales organization
- Working experience in MNC or regional role
- Positive, with a can-do attitude, but realistic and not afraid to say no
