Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to join our Edgewood, NY facility. In this role, you will help in the planning, organizing and executing of the print jobs; as instructed by the DDS Print Management, and/or the DDS Print Supervisors. The main responsibility of a DDS Production Control Specialist is to ensure daily SLA's are met for all clients.
This is anon-site rolethat will be assigned to a physical Broadridge location where work will be performed 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:
- Work with shift supervisor and department floor leads to prioritize work requests, load balance and track the status of all print jobs.
- Monitor incoming volumes and DDS backlogs (by product type) throughout the shift and keep management informed of any potential capacity problems.
- Utilize reports to reconcile daily incoming (requested) orders against volume produced to ensure that all requests are completed on a timely basis to meet SLAs.
- Advise management of potential problems meeting client SLAs and recommend tactical plans to address these issues.
- Ensure the timely completion of priority (e.g., must mail/overnights) jobs by coordinating QC/insertion/shipping instructions with the Production Department.
- Monitor quality by reviewing printed, stitched, and perfect bound material as jobs are being scanned and moved throughout the process. Provide timely feedback on concerns with quality or other issues to DDS leadership.
- Communicate file issues and other concerns to all teams (including but not limited to; Print, QA, Production, Client Services and Systems). Communications should be professional and well written. Follow ups are required to ensure client SLAs are met.
- Work with Leaders to ensure new products/clients are properly testing, and Must Mail members have proficient knowledge of new work.
- Notifies management of any potential problems as they relate to staffing, workflow, equipment, and scheduling and recommends solutions.
- Provide Verbal Turnovers for Incoming Shifts as well as receive Verbal Turnovers from Outgoing shifts.
- Works closely with the shift DDS Print Room Supervisor, providing updates routinely throughout the day.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, reach and lift 50 lb. mail trays throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required)
- Ability to adapt to a changing dynamic production environment and multitask while working under tight deadlines
- Basic mechanical and trouble shooting skills and math skills
