Primary Responsibilities:
The Marketing/Business Development Intern will primarily support and lead efforts related to proposals for Bozzuto Construction Company. This includes not only assembling proposals but also collaborating with the business development team to create winning strategies, researching prospective client companies, writing tailored proposal components, and supporting interview preparation. This is a 6-month assignment with the potential to be extended.
Preferred hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in-office in Wayne, PA, OR Greenbelt, MD); fully remote arrangements will be considered.
As a Marketing/Business Development Intern, your primary responsibilities include:
Proposal Strategy, Development & Content Creation:
- Work with the Business Development team to define proposal objectives and develop effective strategies.
- Create and edit proposal content, ensuring a consistent tone and message.
- Assist the Business Development team by gathering content for client presentations, interviews, and meetings, and preparing relevant proposal sections.
- Customize client pitch presentations to align with Business Development goals and audience needs. Manage a proposal calendar to track and meet all proposal-related deadlines.
Research:
- Conduct comprehensive research to stay informed on industry trends.
- Research prospective clients, emerging product types, and new geographic regions
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's OR graduate program.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Experience in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in the Multifamily, construction and/or real estate industry.
- Ability to perform quickly, accurately, and effectively with close attention to detail
