About Aladdin Financial Engineering (AFE):
Join a diverse and collaborative team of over 400 modelers and technologists in Aladdin Financial Engineering (AFE), the business responsible for the research and development of Aladdin's financial models. This group is also accountable for analytics production, enhancing the infrastructure platform and delivering analytics content to portfolio and risk management professionals (both within BlackRock and across the Aladdin client community). The models developed and supported by AFE span a wide array of financial products covering equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, and private markets. AFE provides investment insights that range from an analysis of cash flows on a single bond, to the overall financial risk associated with an entire portfolio, balance sheet, or enterprise.

Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Model Governance Business Analyst to join our team in Budapest. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our models by developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in Aladdin Financial Engineering. This role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree on Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, CS preferred
- 2+ years of relevant working experiences
- Strong analytical skills - excel/SQL/Python to collect data and analyze data efficiently
- Strong project management skill - manage multiple projects/tracking multiple workstream progresses, multitasking etc.. and ability to work under time pressure while still delivering high quality work products
- Strong communication skill - oral and written communication, especially ppt.
- Strong people skill - ability to collaborate with multiple teams at different levels and to handle tough situations when being challenged
- Good understanding of process flow as well as the risks and controls associated to the processes, and to challenge the protocols if deemed necessary
- Basic understanding of financial products and valuation/risks associated with these financial products
- Model governance, risk and control, model development, model validation, product development, product release related background/experiences is a plus
- Understanding of model development lifecycle and application release and deployment process is a plus.
