Business Systems Analyst partners with relevant functional teams to ensure delivery of applications aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as the support of those applications. Works with relevant business groups to define their global IT requirements and to analyze appropriate solutions. Manages projects from inception to completion.


Responsibilities


  • Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborates with stakeholders to define and document business requirements for enhancements in specific functional areas.


  • Process Modeling and Design: Works with stakeholders to create business process models using industry-standard techniques.


  • Stakeholder Management: Manages stakeholder expectations and communications, guiding them through IT processes.


  • Solution Design: Designs and documents solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.


  • Documentation: Produces project artifacts following relevant guidelines and templates.


  • Functional Design: Develops and advocates for functional designs, ensuring they meet business needs and industry trends.


  • Testing & Test Design: Owns application modules, develops test cases, and coordinates testing efforts with stakeholders.


  • System Configurations: Masters configurations of application modules and documents best practices.


  • Day-to-Day Support: Provides first-level support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring SLAs are met.


  • Training and Change Management: Coordinates training for SMEs and communicates status on support issues.


  • Vendor Management: Manages vendor resources, feedback, and negotiations, ensuring proper support and contract renewals.


  • Vendor & Application Technology Evaluation: Assists in evaluating vendor and application technologies, conducting research, and preparing recommendations.


Qualifications


  • Proven years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, data analytics, product management


  • Previous experience in the real estate and construction industries is a plus


  • Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Computer System, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related engineering field


  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business environments
