Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provides expertise, input and guidance to a portfolio of large and small KM and OL focused projects.
- Motivates and mentor team members to bring their best to their work.
- Ensures high-quality outputs, deliverables, and overall implementation.
- Fosters collaboration and adaptive management across projects and practices to ensure impactful implementation.
- Serve as a thought leader and representative for Bixal in the wider development community.
- Supports the development of Bixal’s KM and OL strategy and vision.
- Encourages and supports internal and external learning initiatives to improve impact across the organization and the industry.
- Drives organizational growth and competitive advantage through continuous innovation and adaptation to changing market dynamics.
- Participates in client events and forums to positively represent the organization and develop and maintain relationships with the industry.
- Supports the capture and development of new business opportunities to expand Bixal’s presence.
- Leads proposal solutioning, technical writing and content creation.
- Further define technical objectives by roles and responsibilities to inform staffing structures and level of effort for proposals.

Qualifications
- Masters Degree plus 8 years progressive experience in Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning and/or CLA with a focus on USAID.
- Proven KMOL and CLA to support international development projects and activities funded by USAID.
- A willingness to bring this experience to other agencies in the USG.
- Experience managing a diverse and dispersed team.
- Business development experience including proposal writing and teaming.
- Understanding of web design and development and how to work across web, KM, comms and MEL.
- A comprehensive understanding of USAID Washington and mission operations, as well as their program cycle and the CLA framework.
- Contract and budget management experience.
