Associate Medical Director M-SERM

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Medical Director M-SERM to join our world-class team. As an Associate Medical Director in M-SERM department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of clinical trials and supporting the development of life-saving therapeutics.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD, MBBS)
  • 2-5 years of experience in life sciences or a medically related field
  • Knowledge of clinical trials process and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Should be flexible to work in Europe Time Zone
  • Clinical trial experience in the specialties including but not limited to hematology/oncology, immunology, cardiology, renal and endocrine diseases would be preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform real-time holistic medical data review, full review of patient profile and line listing to identify anomalies & determine overall medical plausibility/congruency at a subject level
  • Perform aggregate trend level reviews and provide medical, clinical, and scientific inputs.
  • Review investigation product dosing records to ensure adherence to protocol and identify any inaccuracies or missed dosages.
  • Verify all supporting information for reported Adverse Events (AEs) and identify any missing or implausible data.
  • Review all reported Concomitant Medications to ensure compliance with protocol.
  • Assess inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure patients meet the minimum level of acceptance for the clinical trial.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of end-of-study (EOS) information to determine the primary reason for patient participation ending.
  • Review laboratory results for completeness and identify potential safety conditions.
  • Perform other necessary reviews to determine overall readiness of patient information for the next level.
  • Participate in study start-up activities, including providing clinical inputs and creating checks in the DMP system and spotfire visulization tool.
  • Maintain ongoing connectivity with the study team and resolve any queries or questions.
  • Participate in meetings with the clinical study team to provide scientific insights and support.

Medical Judgement Focus:

As an Associate Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to focus on greater medical insights and less project management. You will act as an interface for medical discussions requiring medical judgement and insight, adding scientific value to the study.
