Summary
Responsible to grow the BD Biosciences (BDB) business in South Asia by leading the organization and directing the associates to meet the strategic and financial objectives. BDB is a high growth business with a strong growth potential driven by market shaping & market development.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering overall BDB South Asia's business objectives with full P&L responsibility.
- Develop and implement strategic BDB sales, marketing, clinical and service goals.
- Drive Market development initiatives, Increase market share and strengthen customer portfolio to achieve significant growth and gain relevance in the market.
- Establish and delegate operational objectives and assignments while optimizing resource allocation and projects between the various product areas to achieve sales results and OIBT goals.
- Establish and manage relationships with customers, distributors, and government bodies to achieve organizational goals.
- As a member of BD South Asia Leadership Team be a part of formulation of development of organizational strategy & culture building initiatives
- Lead & develop business managers and their teams
Requirements:
- A minimum 15 years of sales and marketing experience in consumable & equipment sales and with recent leadership role in the healthcare industry.
- Ideally, MBA or other advanced graduate degree
- People leadership experience
- Proven experience in managing P&L for a business
- Experience in setting direction and providing effective solutions and initiatives to manage a growing industry/market segment
- Knowledge of South Asian healthcare markets, practices, channel, and distributor management
- Strong business acumen and result oriented
- Excellent communication skill
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work well in a matrix organization
