About the role
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Director to join our team and drive the expansion of our client base in the US East Coast region.
Position Overview:
As Business Development Director for our eClinical division, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, you will spearhead initiatives to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the business development strategy for the eClinical division, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO sectors.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical operations leaders, procurement professionals, and executive management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and close.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven business development experience within the life sciences sector preferably pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry.
- Proven track record of success in selling technology services with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Location:
This is a US based decentralised role, preference you reside on the East Coast.
This position will require travel.
