Job Description:

This job is responsible for pro-actively generating ideas and developing solutions as a deal team captain to meet client needs. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact and advisor for some select clients and is an active member of client and/or deal teams working with senior staff. Job expectations include continuing to develop product and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as point of contact/advisor with select clients
  • Builds and manages relationships with corporate clients with emphasis on origination business and portfolio risk in the assigned business segment
  • Calls on existing or prospective clients and meets with financial officers/treasurers/Chief Financial Officer to advice on a range of corporate banking product solutions to meet client needs
  • Prices products within targeted rate of return, documents and closes transactions, ensures conformance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements
  • Defines responsibilities and coordinates objectives for all product areas in a relationship or transaction and resolves all client needs and interfaces with other departments to resolve any customer concerns
  • Monitors and analyses relationship plan results, account activities, and determines client profitability
  • Ensures the integrity and completeness of documentation in conformance with regulatory requirements and established policies and procedures
