About the role
The Vice President of Corporate Security will develop and manage a comprehensive security strategy that protects our physical assets, and personnel. You will manage a diverse range of security functions, including physical security, corporate investigations, travel security, event protection, business continuity, security investment projects, and crisis management. You will collaborate with senior leadership and our Cyber Security team to align security efforts with our goals. This is an opportunity to lead and shape the physical security strategy of a dynamic company.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $232,000 - $304,500 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate physical security strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and business goals

Establish and communicate comprehensive security policies and procedures to guide the organization in preventing, detecting, and responding to security incidents

Lead and inspire a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence throughout the company

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during security incidents to ensure effective resolution and communication

Support the development and implementation of crisis management and business continuity plans, training, and exercising

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to address potential threats

Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across all company operations and locations

Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust security strategies accordingly

Work closely with other departments (e.g. Legal, compliance, cyber security, IT etc.) to integrate security considerations into business processes and projects

Develop and manage the security department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Optimize resource utilization to achieve security objectives

Coordinate with law enforcement in response to incidents and crises

coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies during investigations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Leading and managing investigations into security breaches, theft, fraud, workplace violence, and other incidents that may threaten the organization
Qualifications
-
15+ years of experience in physical security or law enforcement (federal, state, and/or local)

10+ years of experience in a corporate senior security or complex investigation management role
-
5+ years leading teams
-
Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols, and risk management.

Experience with security technologies and systems

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or a related field

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
