RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support end users by responding to issues for multiple applications, with the primary focus on triage of all business impacting incidents.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the relevant policies and procedures.
  • Serve as key focal point for the customer /client /associate experience and restore any impacts to those experiences regardless of where the root cause of the impact lies.
  • Perform operational Support of Data Center / DMZ routing and switching environment: Cisco Nexus / ACI, Arista CloudVision, VMware NSX, Netscout, and Gigamon.
  • Identify service impact, interpret monitors, dashboards, and logs.
  • Troubleshoot Routing, Switching and Firewalls technologies, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, NAC, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, NHRP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, ACL, and VPN protocols to identify and remediate complex network infrastructure issues.
  • Utilize SDN technologies, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and Arista CloudVision to troubleshoot complex network infrastructure problems.
  • Use SDWAN technologies including the Palo Alto Cloudgenix product to identify and remediate complex network infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain documentation within JIRA, Confluence, Agile and SCRUM framework.
  • Handle the configuration management process and routines using Forward Networks and HPNA.
  • Provide technical analysis using Netscout, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne, HPNA, NNMI, OBM, IBM Watson, and NSO.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related: and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Troubleshooting Routing, Switching and Firewalls technologies, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, NAC, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, NHRP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, ACL, and VPN protocols to identify and remediate complex network infrastructure issues;
  • Utilizing SDN technologies, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and Arista CloudVision to troubleshoot complex network infrastructure problems;
