Avanade needs a Sales Leader
We are looking for a leader to build and drive a culture of growth, learning and mentorship; all while exceeding expectations. We're talking about a sales leader to come run a small but mighty front-line sales team in our "Communications, Media, and Technology" industry unit. This team is working exclusively with our largest and most complex Accenture partnered accounts to drive and close net new multi-million-dollar programs.

What you'll do
* You will work closely with the leadership team and Industry Leads to drive account planning and set up the sales plan. You own the process and own the plan.
* Work with Industry Leads to develop priorities on industries, clients, growth plays, and investments that are aligned with the sales plan
* Agree to sales team capacity and define the sourcing plan to build the sales team. Lead the recruitment and interview process.
* Set sales targets and track credit allocations for the sales team.
* Drive performance achievement assessment, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of the sales group.
* Coach, recruit, and manage performance of Business Development Executives.
* You will deliver on the sales plan and grow the sales team. Relentlessly drive daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly rhythms to "call the number" and deliver on annual plan expectations.
* Oversee campaign execution.
* Drive rigor and discipline in the opportunity's qualification process, ensuring efficient business development spend with a focus on improving win rates and won CCI.
* Be personally involved in originating and making critical interventions to sales opportunities, as well as deal coaching deal teams and making critical interventions including significant individual contributions in the most important deals in their portfolio.
Skills & Experiences
* You have worked in the Microsoft ecosystem and understand how to navigate quickly across Microsoft and Accenture. You have experience in at least one of our industries so that you can bring content yourself to the discussion.
* You know how Microsoft works and have specific experience working with, on or across Microsoft go-to-market sales teams; ATU or STU experience preferred.
* You know how Accenture works and ideally have specific experience working with, on or across, Accenture Sales teams.
* You have industry experience in one or more of our industries; Software and Platforms, Media and Entertainment, or Telecommunications.
* You have led people through direct report coaching and development.
* You are Fact Based and Data Driven.
* You bring urgency with structure to quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily rhythms.
* You bring much to the table.

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable base salary range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, New York and Washington as set forth below and https://www.avanade.com/en/career/benefits
