Job Description

Aramark is a leader in the convenience retail industry, dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences and innovative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Convenience Retail & Coffee to lead our team and drive our strategic initiatives.

The Vice President of Convenience Retail & Coffee Strategy will be responsible for the growth strategy and go-to-market solutions for Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and Coffee offerings for the Aramark Enterprise. This role encompasses all aspects of category management, including maximizing National Volume Discounts, product selection, distribution solutions, plan-o-guides, merchandising layouts, promotional activities, site development, and retail pricing.

Job Responsibilities

Convenience Retail Growth Strategy:

Develop and execute growth strategies for CPG and Coffee offerings.
Oversee go-to-market solutions to drive revenue and margin.

Category Management:

Implement a disciplined 7-point approach to deliver LOB-specific business needs and revenue.
Manage product selection, placement (POG), pricing (SRP), and promotion activation.
Develop supply chain strategies to support product mix with primary distributors and bottlers.
Maintain retail pricing strategies to protect GM% through proactive SRP adjustments.

Site Development:

Lead site development initiatives, including strategy, proforma, opportunity identification, and site surveys.
Oversee store design, including full drawing sets, renderings, and merchandising layouts.
Manage quotes, purchase orders, delivery, installation, and operations training.
Provide ongoing support with annual merchandising planning and SRP updates.

Branding and Marketing:

Develop and execute solutions strategies for B2B, B2E, and B2C markets.
Lead field communications and provide tools and support resources.
Identify and support growth opportunities, including new business verticals.
Maximize LOB opportunities with new build and refresh strategies, including heat-and-eat options.

Technology & Innovation:

Drive technology strategies for varied convenience retail solutions and client application needs.
Implement retail automation technologies, including POS and autonomous locations (Automated Eats/Quick Eats).

Supply Chain & Procurement:

Manage manufacturer expectations and catalog through product selection, placement, and promotions.
Host innovation initiatives like ?Shark Tank? to introduce new products, with a disciplined approach to category management.
Ensure ongoing execution and support with tools and resources, updating 450 merchandising layouts annually.

Training & Auditing:

Provide comprehensive training and auditing to ensure operational excellence.
Support ongoing execution and provide necessary tools and resources for the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail management, with a focus on category management, brand development, retail automation, and pricing.

Proven track record of driving growth and innovation in a retail environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
