The Sales Area Vice President is responsible for building and driving the sales team to exceed company objectives and service our Enterprise and Commercial customers. The qualified candidate must possess a deep understanding of how to build, motivate, and create a winning culture. This individual will report to the America's Sales leader. As a second-line leader, you will be responsible for managing two regions with first-line managers, each overseeing teams of eight individual contributors.

Our solutions reach customers through multiple sales channels, including security-focused Value-Added Resellers, System Integrators, and Direct sales.
Essential Functions:
- Revenue Management: Accurately forecast and deliver revenue commitments.
- Motivation: Highly motivated.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team Management: Manage US Enterprise Account Executives, including recruitment, skills development, coaching, appraisals, and performance management.
- Business Growth: Grow net new business and existing business within the territory.
- Value Proposition: Lead Account Executives in messaging our value proposition to customers based on validated customer-specific needs.
- Networking: Build a personal network of executive relationships between key customers and partners.
- Business Planning: Drive the business planning process within the region and ensure all Account Executives are integrated into the process and building their own business plans.
- Travel: 40% travel within the US region.
- Reporting: Report progress against the business plan to the VP.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other internal functions, including Channel, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, Renewals, and Customer Success.
Qualifications:
- BS technical degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of above quota sales experience, and 5 years of Sales Management experience, preferably within the US
