Job Description

The Finance Director will partner with Finance and Operation leadership to support the business in achieving the financial goals of growth, profitability, and cash flow. Primarily responsible for financial planning, annual forecasts, monthly and quarterly projections and historical financial analysis of operation results and internal benchmarks and metrics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Management and professional development of the regional finance staff.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan process including review and assessment of financial models in conjunction with business leaders.
  • Oversee the weekly projection and month end processes and foster creative solutions and collaboration with the regional field organization and headquarter support teams to achieve financial objectives.
  • Identification and ongoing monitoring of under-performing accounts, including leading improvement team to turnaround performance at such accounts.
  • Evaluate and approve potential new business and retention event financial models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions with the Operations team regarding new accounting procedure and other relevant financial programs and initiatives.
  • Review and approve annual contract renewals

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of a bachelor?s degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of financial planning and analysis experience. A Master's degree and/or CPA are preferable, but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a finance team.
  • Strong trend analysis skills, who can proactively identify issues and make recommendations.
  • Strong conceptual skills (such as probability and statistical inference)
  • Strong management experience with outstanding leadership skills. Ability to effectively hire and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Must have good knowledge of applicable statutes, laws, rules, and regulations, including multi-state property and sales tax concepts.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and prior experience with sophisticated financial computer applications, including Oracle, is preferred.
  • It will be essential that the Regional Finance Director have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience leading/championing projects.
  • This position will require approx. 25% travel, including some overnight travel.
  • Candidate must be based in the region, which is the East Coast of the US, preferably near a major airport.

Benefits:

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?
