Apple's Real Estate, Design & Merchandising (RDM) teams create and care for Apple Stores that look, feel, and function as beautifully as our products. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a strategy that sets the bar. RDM's Retail Merchandising team connects customers to Apple products, services and accessories through strategies that highlight discovery, engagement and "Only at Apple" interactive experiences. We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support the Senior Director of the World Wide Merchandising Team in Apple Retail. You will work in close partnership across the extended Merchandising and RDM Leadership team. This position requires a tenacious self-starter who can anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Looking for someone that communicates clearly and fosters strong relationships, and builds trust with cross-functional teams across all of Apple.

Description

This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of integrity and professionalism. - Handle organization in leading function-specific projects including coordination, leading meetings, project tracking, and executive presentation materials. - Improve the operational systems, processes, and polices in support of the organizational's goals. - Increase effectiveness and efficiency in Merchandising processes through improvements to each function, as well as coordination and communication between functions. Drive agreed improvements through planning, development, and successful implementation to teams. - Executive Support including complex calendar management, scheduling travel, processing expense reports, budget management, and event coordination. - Organize senior leader cross-functional connection meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a Traffic Coordinator in ensuring agenda planning and collateral is planned. - Facilitate in organizational people management, on-boarding, training, and internal communication. - Play a leading role in team engagement activities, including organizing offsites, team building, and internal comms. - Build budget planning and tracking systems for organization's travel and headcount. - Manage organization facilities requirements and maintenance in collaboration with Facilities & EHS teams.
  • 5+ years of exp. in an executive administrative assistance or project coordinator capacity
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and upmost secrecy.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and have strong time-management skills.
  • Calm under pressure, sense of humor, and good with people.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience in Retail or business.
  • Proficiency with Apple Calendar, Apple Mail, Apple Keynote, Quip, Slack, and other office systems and tools.
  • Positive and strong leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners
  • Experience in leading complex projects and priorities across multiple markets
  • A self starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload, while demonstrating Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $41.00 and $61.50/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
