What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity for a Transition Coordinator. As a TC at WWT, you will be a supporting team member for client onboarding during the Transition Phase of Managed Services, getting from Pre-Sales (Service Design) to Service Go Live. Participation in customer-facing and internal meetings as a planning or program resource will be common-place, as well collaborating with the Technical Transition Manager, Customer Experience Champions and Operations to drive outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and executing the Transition Plan and associated templates, procedures, and documentation. You will lead and assist efforts to ensure all transitional events are coordinated and day-to-day tasks are completed within the Transition Team.
Responsibilities:
- Main Point-Of-Contact for Managed Services around planning or programmatic activities during the Transition Phase.
- Responsible for the Creation & Maintenance of all Transition Planning Plan Templates, Processes and Documentation.
- Leads Internal & Customer-Facing meetings, including PLW/SLW's, as the primary resource for the Transition Team to support our customers and their growing needs.
- Responsible for the successful completion of the Transition Phase for our customers.
- Responsible for assignment & coordination of multiple project Transitions, being executed by the Manager or other Transition resources.
- Ability to create, execute and problem solve, all aspects of the Transition Phase for our customers, ranging from simple to complex multi-team engagements.
- Responsible for Financial awareness, tracking and interfacing with accounting for all Onboarding/Transition projects.
- Acquire base knowledge around OEMs technologies supported by Managed Services, including but not limited to: SD-Wan, Route/Switch, Unified Communications, Data Center (compute & storage), Cloud Platforms.
- Desire for change, learning, and new opportunities; Managed Services moves at the pace of our customers and even faster.
- Provide oversight and efforts within the tactical day-to-day efforts, lifecycle management, and transition events.
- Assist with other Transition Team activities and planning as needed to ensure a cohesive and team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication, product demonstration, customer service, and presentation skills required.
- Strong financial understanding.
- Project Management experience and understanding of the full lifecycle of projects. Ideally understanding of multiple methodologies, "Waterfall", Agile, Scrum, etc.
- Ability to foster strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Ideally have a background or familiarity with Managed Services.
- Familiarity of ITIL with ITIL certifications preferred, ideally current version.
- Must be self-motivated: must thrive in situations where given autonomy and responsibility to find solutions to problems with limited direction.
- Have a general business acumen to align solutions to business outcomes. Storytelling skills to share the why and how of what we do.
- Strong mentorship and presentation skills, comfortable working directly with customers/clients.
- High attention to detail and able to solve complex challenges.
- Able to work in a high-performance collaborative team.
