Description
- Manage and monitor external partners including weekly meetings, compliance requests, shipment validations etc. - Support Apple's Global Trade FTZ program and vendor management - Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.) - Conduct audits of FTZ estimates admissions and weekly customs entries - Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance. - Ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of import operations. - Review and respond to post entry compliance requests. Requires ability to evaluate risk, strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills; including ability to resolve/research complex issues with Apple's business units, suppliers, brokers and U.S. CBP. This includes resolving customs entry discrepancies, managing PSCs, or making corrections through Apple's reconciliation or protest process. - Assist with various departmental projects by providing technical expertise. Projects may include support for: FTZ, CTPAT, protests, Ozone-Depleting Chemical Excise Tax, Reconciliation, HTS classification, Importer Self Assessment, Audits, Broker audit report project, broker payment, protest, procedure documentation. Collaborate in Global projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the programs/projects group or manager. - Duty Drawback program establishment and maintenance - S301 strategic planning and execution - Troubleshoot system related issues and root cause analysis

- 6 years of equivalent practical work experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Customs Broker License preferred.
- Sophisticated FTZ experience and managing external partners.
- Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g. FDA, EPA.)
- Proficiency with MS Office and SAP-GTS.
- Project Management experience
- Data management, metrics development and management
- FTZ Audit program management
