Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls, is currently seeking a Logistician to join the team. This position will be located in Port Hueneme, CA. #LI-AK1
What You Will Do
- Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
- Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
- Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

What You Must Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidate must have an active secret security clearance to start.
- Candidate must have experience in one or more of the following mission areas:
- Logistics Management Support
- Configuration Management Support
- Sustainment Engineering Support
- Technical Data Support
- Supply Support
- Manpower, Personnel and Training Support
- Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) Support
- Operational Logistics Support
Bonus Points For...
- LCS Mission Module/MPSF/SUW program familiarity
- ILS Cert development experience
- CDMD-OA experience
- Configuration Management Plan development experience
- Configuration Change Control Board experience
- Naval Modernization Process experience
- Experience operating in Navy Data Environment (NDE)
- Experience with Ship Change Document (SCD) development (NDE-EP), initiator or submitter (ideal)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
