Communications Team

Adyen’s Communications team sets and executes Adyen’s global communications strategy – encompassing our global positioning and reputation and stakeholder management. We always look for the most powerful way to convey our story, and there’s a lot of room for creativity in our projects.

Our team consists of talented and driven storytellers, and together we shape how our company is perceived by a broad range of stakeholders. Spanning Adyen’s corporate communications function and global press office, we craft messaging on a daily basis for a wide-ranging audience including investors, analysts, regulators, and reporters. We are currently looking for a clever and creative Corporate Content Manager to join the team in Amsterdam.

 What you’ll do

  • Craft materials that underpin the execution of our global communications strategy (e.g. shareholder letters, annual reports, and our global newsroom), translating our business progress and deep financial insights into easy-to-understand messaging.
  • Define the messaging that shapes how the capital markets, global media, and regulators perceive Adyen. To do so effectively, you will be working closely with Adyen’s Management Board and broader senior leadership team, Investor Relations, Financial Reporting, and PR & Marketing functions. 
  • Aid in the production of supporting documents that are foundational to Adyen’s interactions with external stakeholders (i.e. reporters, investors, regulators, and other public stakeholders), including FAQ documents, press briefings, and presentation materials.

Who you are

  • You have 3–5 years of relevant experience as a writer of high-quality English language content, preferably as a journalist, or in a copywriting or communications role. 
  • You know how to condense the most complex topics into easy-to-understand content, seamlessly code-switching based on the audience in question.
  • You are a capable storyteller, with a native-level written and verbal skills in the English language.
  • You are a team player, and are comfortable interacting with stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
  • You are flexible & fast, and enjoy getting things done in a dynamic environment, prioritizing where needed to meet tight deadlines.
