What Black Girl Ventures Foundation Does
Black Girl Ventures Foundation (BGV) helps connect Black and brown female-identifying entrepreneurs with capital, community, and capacity building. We host crowdfunded pitch competitions all over the U.S., where the audience votes with their dollars determining the winner, which democratizes the funding process. After the pitch competition, we run a six-week accelerator to help our founders scale their businesses. Additionally, we have an online community for founders called BGV Connect where we share resources as well as host webinars and other entrepreneurial education events.
