Workplace Resources is a highly trusted team, responsible for providing an incredible experience for our ZEOs (what we call Zuora employees). The Role
As the Workplace Resources Manager, you are essential to helping oversee the operations for our APAC offices. You will work cross-functionally throughout our organization to help set a strategy for our workplace, create consistency across each office, manage budgets, and ensure the offices run smoothly. You will oversee our Office & Community team located in Chennai and Beijing. In addition, you will help with aspects of real estate and construction management as we look to open and expand offices in different markets globally.
This role is required to be in the office located in Bangalore at least 3 days per week. Some travel within India or Internationally will be required approximately once a quarter.
What you'll do
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our APAC offices including Chennai, Bangalore, Beijing, Tokyo and Sydney
- Manage, support and inspire our Workplace team members in Chennai and Beijing
- Lead facilitates improvement projects, office moves, furniture modifications, space planning and office set-ups
- Work collaboratively with the Workplace team in India to coordinate events, celebrations and gifts
- Oversee daily activities of our Bangalore office including workstation management, the daily lunch program, ordering supplies, conference room booking, etc.
- Set budgets, analyze variances and provide improvement opportunities
- Create standards and consistency for our offices and ensure our working environments are positive for employees and guests
- Continue improving intra and inter-office communication and streamlining processes
- Be a strategic thought partner to regional leaders and the Director of Workplace
Your experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to solve problems, set priorities and propose solutions effectively
- Experience working with multiple offices and in other countries throughout APAC
- Experience managing and leading team members, providing professional development opportunities while driving organizational goals
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across the business and all levels of management
- Ability to wear multiple hats and work on global projects across multiple timezones
- Well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenge of supporting many offices and team members
- Must be customer service oriented
- An approachable demeanor and sense of humor
- Knowledge of G Suite Apps, VC systems and the ability to learn new software programs
- Must be able to meet with team members based in Europe and the US, sometimes in the early or late hours of the day
