Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Principal IT Engineer - Digital Workplace who will closely work with the Digital Workplace Tools (DWT) Lead to deliver solutions to enhanced digital workspace experience around: SharePoint - Document Management & Intranet as well as Power Platform and Azure AI. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our SharePoint environment, as well as leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI to create powerful solutions for our business needs and will report to Sr Manager - DWT.

In this role you will...

  • Create Intelligent business apps using Power Platform.
  • Setup and manage Power Platform COE and Governance platform.
  • Create a web design Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Site and Branding on the SharePoint platform.
  • Develop Azure AI based solution using modules like Azure Open AI, Azure AI Document Intelligence Service, Azure AI Cognitive services etc.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft Office 365 tools and third-party applications.
  • Monitor SharePoint usage and security architecture.
  • Create a new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner, and mobile-friendly pages.
  • Create, deploy, package, and administer a new intranet portal site as well as a SharePoint site.
  • Create website designs using OOTB, UI extensions, page layouts, themes, and display templates using SharePoint Framework SPFx. Integrate external applications using REST API. Connect to Graph API to automate M365 solutions.
  • Create pages for all devices using HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design.
  • Build web components, lists/libraries, content kinds, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management.
  • Providing training to staff and customers.

You Have What It Takes If You Have...

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of SharePoint development experience with SharePoint Online/O365
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform and Cloud Azure
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint security architecture using M365 groups and SharePoint Groups
  • Strong command over Graph API
  • Good hands-on experience in PowerShell Scripting
  • Good to have knowledge on Azure Resource Groups, Resources, Azure Web apps concepts.
  • Good to have knowledge on Azure AI services.
  • Understanding on using Solutions in Power Platform to move deliverables across environments.
  • The ability to be adaptable, inventive, and organized in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Extensive understanding of UI/UX
  • Prior client involvement and understanding of business applications, data flow, and migration SharePoint framework experience, including establishing sites in hybrid contexts, developing, and administering
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize well, multitask, and manage time efficiently
  • Superior problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities and Excellent project management abilities
  • Consideration for privacy and security obligations
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, contributing to an inclusive working, and learning environment
