The Team & Role

Zuora's Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to develop and improve operational processes that create alignment between our Marketing organization, GTM operations, and internal partners across the business. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations, you will support our team's initiatives by identifying business needs, applying standard methodologies, implementing recommendations, and providing governance of our processes.

Successful marketing operations leaders at Zuora are strategic problem solvers who get results through influence at the executive level, are innovative thinkers, and are effective at change management. This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely while occasionally getting together with your team for office visits, events, or offsites. Of course, you're welcome to come into the office more often if you're nearby.

What you'll do
  • Design, implement, enable and continuously improve on the internal marketing execution model, ensuring that it's purpose built to support global ABM and results in high quality execution by Marketing teams to more effectively execute their campaigns and ultimately convert intent into pipeline
  • Lead the Marketing team with channel based strategic advice to maximize reach & engagement across the various channels that the marketing team leverages to reach target personas
  • Develop a deep understanding of how various teams within Marketing are using the existing Marketing tools & technology to deliver best in class customer experiences and identify opportunities to gain efficiencies with improved processes or tools that better support marketing planning and execution


Your experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in B2B marketing operations, campaign operations or similar role
  • Deep experience and proficiency of Salesforce, Marketo, and the broad MarTech stack including Outreach, LeanData, Knak, webinar & virtual event platforms
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong quantitative skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data, with accuracy
  • Ability to quickly respond to requested changes and identify process improvements
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, and lead a team of marketing operations experts
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while being team-focused

Nice to haves:
  • Experience supporting demand generations teams in taking ideas & tactics to market, including using analytics tools to understand engagement, conversion rates, and journey pathing
