Leadership Communication Senior Associate

We seek a Leadership Communications Senior Associate to join our Marketing & Communications team in our Chicago, IL office. As a communications specialist, this role will create, manage and execute leader platforms and strategic communications. This role will interact with key leaders to help deliver integrated communications that support the company's strategic priorities.

What You'll Do


  • At the direction of communications team leads, help establish senior leaders' communication priorities, strategize on future initiatives, advise on best practices and support their communication platforms including, videos, employee meetings, messages, blogs and other channels
  • Act as a strategic counselor to deliver internal content that drives and aligns with firm objectives
  • Support the executive communications plan to drive strategic initiatives and activate a global audience across multiple digital channels, crafting narratives that leverage storytelling and are aligned with ZS values, culture, and style
  • Provide strategic communications that drive business performance and connect geographically dispersed teams
  • Support the communication platform for the CEO and select members of the leadership team
  • Enhance employee engagement by creating compelling executive communications
  • Work closely with other teams on internal initiatives to maximize executive visibility and clarity
  • Help ensure leadership is attuned to the voice of the employee
  • Track results and apply key learnings to improve future communications, content, and engagement


What You'll Bring


  • Minimum bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years relevant work experience with demonstrated experience in the scope of this role
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel and influence senior leadership, as well as build strategic relationships across the business
  • Exceptional writing, creative and problem-solving skills to be able to master an executive's voice for clear and authentic communications
  • High-energy, detail-oriented, and results-driven communications strategist and practitioner
  • Able to translate complex business and stakeholder needs into effective narratives and messages for a variety of audiences
  • Understanding and experience across communication channels
