The B2B Frontline Authority Systems Technology Team (FAST), a part of the Revenue Engineering Team within the Core Technology organization at Zillow, is responsible for designing and maintaining systems for sales and service operators across 10 B2B lines of business, including Agent Software & Advertising and Rentals. Our focus is on enhancing productivity and efficiency through automation and simplification, by solving frontline operator problems with technology. To improve our return on investment, we prioritize using established platforms like Salesforce and advocate for standard capabilities over customized solutions!

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and a proven history of managing and optimizing Salesforce environments. In this role, you will work closely with multiple departments to improve our Salesforce capabilities and ensure optimal system performance.

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will:
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, security, and data management.
- Customize Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, and workflows.
- Develop and implement standard methodologies for data management and reporting.
- Provide support to end-users to enhance their understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
- Provide application support to end users, assisting them with resolving issues and answering questions.
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, and recommend improvements to the system.
- Lead projects related to Salesforce enhancements and integrations with other systems.
- Implemented self-service tools and fostered a platform-centric approach to development.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $124,000.00 - $198,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a focus on complex Salesforce environments.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Architect) are a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce data management, security protocols, and standard methodologies.
- Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party applications is a plus.
- Proficient in creating, managing, and debugging complex business process automation flows, using flow elements.
- Proficient in Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes to automate workflows and business approvals.
- Advanced knowledge of configuring profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security to control user access, permissions, and data visibility.
- Lightning App Builder & Components: Proficiency in using Lightning App Builder and standard/custom Lightning components to create and customize Lightning pages and enhance the user interface.
- Understanding of setting up and using Einstein Analytics to provide deeper insights and predictive analytics to our end users.
