About the role
The product leader for New Construction will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Zillow's new construction product offerings. This person is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the real estate market, particularly new construction, and a consistent record of delivering product innovation and growth at scale. The director will set ambitious goals, drive new growth with their creative yet practical approach, and take our products to the next level. They'll balance ensuring our foundations remain strong with unlocking the ton of untapped and unrealized potential in this market. Does this story sound both familiar and exciting? You Will Get To
- Set the Product Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate the long-term vision and strategy for our offerings, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs. This includes both B2C (consumer) and B2B (builder) sides of New Construction.
- Lead and Develop Your Team: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Conduct Market Analysis and Develop Customer Insights: Perform in-depth market research and gather customer insights to find opportunities and guide product decisions.
- Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with the leaders of engineering, design, marketing, data science, sales, and operations to ensure product success.
- Build the Roadmap: Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing work based on business impact and customer value.
- Own Execution and Delivery: Supervise end-to-end product development, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Measure Performance: Define, track and optimize key performance metrics to measure product success and inform future improvements.
- Align Partners: Evangelize our strategy and progress to senior leaders and other key team members.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $222,900.00 - $356,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, demonstrating growing responsibility. At least 5 years as a people manager. Experience in the real estate or new construction industry is a bonus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or the equivalent professional experience.
