Search Engine Optimization Specialist - Advanced Portuguese

Mexico City, Mexico

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEO Specialist with a strong focus on research and execution who is fluent in Portuguese to join our growing SEO team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our online presence, increase organic search rankings, and drive high-quality traffic to our websites in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive SEO research to identify target keywords, competitor analysis, and industry trends
  • Execute data-driven SEO strategies, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and content marketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers, designers, and other digital marketing specialists, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to SEO that creates SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, landing pages, and other web copy
  • Monitor, track, and analyze website performance, organic search traffic, and rankings using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including keyword rankings, organic traffic and conversion metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends to ensure our strategies are always current and effective

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong focus on research and execution
  • Good level of Portuguese and can communicate for business in English
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
  • Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset and a strong desire to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends
