The Role:

Be part of the team that maintains the company infrastructure and enables the next generation of security services. Working with a cross-global team in Sweden and the US, our goal is to automate everything from CI/CD pipelines to DNS records. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will help design and manage infrastructure built as a service to replace manual workloads and processes. This role will be a hybrid work model.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the security, availability, performance, scalability, and automation of our infrastructure.
  • Ensuring reliable and ongoing measurement and monitoring of our infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and enhancing build/deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of changes to improve the quality and availability of our products.
  • Establishing new technologies in a broad spectrum, often influencing company-wide infrastructure decisions.
  • Establishing feedback loops for continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data from engineering and operations processes.
  • Help automate and develop tools that ensure the rapid, safe, and high-quality delivery of features.
  • Partnering with teams including members from engineering, operations, and other relevant areas.
  • Providing training and support to team members to enhance their understanding of DevOps practices.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas of enhancement and implementing iterative changes.
  • Work closely with the cyber security team to ensure compliance with the company's security and privacy policies
  • Keep up to date on latest technology and best practices, continuously improve and challenge yourself.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices.
  • Support on-prem servers.
  • Other system administration tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years supporting an infrastructure/networking eco-system.
  • 5+ years of working with one public cloud, GCP, AWS, and/or Azure. Focus will be GCP, experience supporting GCP environments.
  • 5+ years of working with DevOps, Automation and/or Software development lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of experience working IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform
  • 5+ years of experience working with configuration management tools like Ansible
  • 5+ years of experience working with a CI/CD tool set (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarQube code coverage tool, Code vulnerability scanning tools like Veracode)
  • 5+ years of experience in provisioning and maintaining Azure or GCP PaaS components, like SQL DB, MongoDB, Storage Accounts/Buckets, Secret Management tools.
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Specialized knowledge of proactive solutions to prevent future problems and automate processes so that engineers can self-service their operational requirements.
  • Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.).
  • Experience and knowledge of software packages and dependencies.
  • Strong experience in bash and python.
  • Experience supporting on-prem servers (Linux).
