About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Ansible Packaging experience
- 3+ years of scripting and/or automation experience
- 3+ years experience with IaC: Yaml, powershell both linux and windows
- 5+ years of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- 3+ years experience with SDLC tools: Jfrog , GitHub
- 3+ years experience with IDE: Visual Studio , Eclipse
- 3+ years experience in Python development
- 3+ years experience in Agile methodologies and toolset.
- Languages: Python, yaml, PowerShell and integrating with API's
- Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation
- Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering.
- Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.
- Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
- Customer focused, service-oriented attitude.
- Proven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations.
- Product Management and Scrum framework experience
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Experience with external key management.
- Risk management and mitigation experience
- Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies like ServiceNow and observability tools is a plus.
