Yext is seeking a motivated, detailed-oriented and dynamic Sr. Tax Manager with a focus area in International Tax to be part of the growing global tax function. As our first hire specializes in International Taxation, we are seeking an individual who can bring in a deep understanding of global tax regulations, compliance and strategies. The ideal candidate is someone who’s self-motivated, a quick learner with excellent organizational and communication skills, and demonstrates strong initiative, ownership, and passion.

What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee foreign local corporate tax compliance, including reporting, documentation, and filing requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely filings of US-international tax forms, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8992, 8993, 928, 1118, etc.
- Prepare international tax provisions in collaboration with the broader tax and finance team
- Manage global transfer pricing operations, including cross-charge calculations and review of the related documentation; conduct regular reviews to ensure transfer pricing policies align with the global operations
- Work alongside with the service providers to develop efficient tax models for Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), Supart F, Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII), Base Erosion Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT), and Foreign Tax Credits (FTC)
- Assist in foreign tax audits including gathering information and assembling responses to auditor inquiries, and assist the management with tax reserve analysis and quantifications
- Proactively identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to automate existing workpapers and streamline processes
- Maintain SOX compliance and key controls
- Assist in other ad hoc projects including but not limited to: M&A diligence and integration, tax planning, analysis of non-standard transactions, and cross-functional business initiatives
What You Have
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience with a mixture of in house and public accounting tax background
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. and international tax regulations, including transfer pricing and cross-border tax issues
- Strong knowledge in US GAAP and working experience with ASC740 & ASC718, good understanding of US GAAP to Local GAAP concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- System savvy and possess advanced Excel skills (Pivots, SUMIFS, INDEXMATCH, etc.)
- Self-starter who is able to work with a distributed workforce, be self-reliant and motivated to take on tasks and demonstrate the ability to work with service providers to drive tasks and projects to completion
- Sense of responsibility, initiative and high-quality work standards
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, work efficiently under tight deadlines and proactively track and report progress
- Self-motivated to apply learned experiences and leverage best practices
- Willingness to work flexible hours with global business from time to time
- Relevant experience in SaaS / Cloud tech industry a plus

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time.
