The Marketing team at Yext is looking for an Associate Reference Program Manager focused on growing our customer reference database and creating reference materials across multiple formats and channels.  In this role, you will cultivate and deliver a body of lighthouse customer references that help drive brand awareness and demand for Yext solutions.  You will collaborate closely with sales, demand generation, regional marketing, brand, and product marketing teams to tell our customer stories across different customer journey stages.

This role requires strong program management skills, an obsessive level of customer-centricity, an understanding of Yext products, and storytelling acumen. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are also necessary to influence teams across a highly matrixed organization.

What You'll Do

  • Customer Reference Management:
    • Build an internal database of referencable customers to be leveraged for marketing and sales programs and ensure compliance across in-use reference materials
    • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to identify potential customer advocates  to incorporate within reference programming
    • Maintain and update the customer reference database to ensure accurate and current information
    • Build and nurture relationships with key customer contacts to secure their participation in reference activities
  • Program Coordination & Execution:
    • Build a pipeline of global customer reference assets to source and establish a regular cadence of published materials  
    • Develop and produce customer reference materials across all media types - presentations, web pages, case studies, videos, and events
    • Lead project management efforts to make sure execution of content is delivered on time and within budget and scope
    • Collaborate with product and content marketing teams to leverage reference content for marketing materials
    • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective use of customer references in campaigns and sales efforts
    • Manage the customer reference repository to ensure ease of access and maximum use of materials by the company 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze the performance of customer reference activities.
    • Generate reports on program success metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement

What You Have

  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, customer success, or a related role
  • 3+ years of work experience for a company's customer advocacy or reference program
  • Experience collaborating with Data Insights, Sales, and Customer Success teams
  • Excellent program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent and sound judgment
  • Proficiency with Customer Reference software (i.e. SlapFive)
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools (i.e., Asana) is a plus

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range
$91,840$115,900 USD
