What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, Inc. is currently searching for a Data Center Networking Technical Solutions Architect to maintain and expand our data center networking practice. This strategic position will reside within the Data Center Infrastructure Practice within Global Solutions and Architecture. This resource will be responsible for evaluating and developing new data center networking solutions for the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC), enabling our regional technical and sales field resources, and working on strategic sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with the Data Center Infrastructure team, executives, regional architects, and sales leadership to set go-to-market strategy for WWT to grow the data center networking business.
- Assist sales teams with strategic sales opportunities including solution design, education, and documentation support
- Build and maintain collateral for our field to help them position and sell data center networking solutions. These could include Brochures, Briefings, Workshops, Reference Architectures, Advisory Services, POCs, and demos
- Train WWT and/or partners on our unique ability to market, sell and deliver data center networking solutions
- Collaborate with our professional services organization to set the strategy for growing our data center networking business
- Develop partner ecosystem relationships that are complementary to WWT's go-to-market strategy around datacenter and networking solutions
- Support business development and marketing initiatives as needed
- Achieve certification requirements to maintain partner status
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 5 years architecting and/or deploying data center networking solutions, especially:
- Cisco Nexus, ACI
- Aruba
- Arista
- Open Networking
- Working knowledge of virtual networking technologies
- Ability for overnight travel (25% - 50%)
- Strong presentation, writing and organizational skills
